Blocks the sun
The hat the material is nice and thick and covers the sides of my head, but i have to have the drawstring tight otherwise will fall off my head. That is the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

Covers my face well
I really love the coverage on this hat. I don’t want sun hitting my face anymore, even with sunscreen, and it does the job. I bought another one in black.

Cool, comfortable and good coverage
Met my needs perfectly following surgery and incision coverage. My head is large and hair full so hats are often too small. This hat fit perfectly and washed by hand excellently. Slight wrinkles after washing but still looked fine. Due to my incision I was concerned about possible irritation from plastic clips to hold on chin strap but they were removable. Wiring inside hat allows for shaping. Looks and feels great.

Hat not as described, wished I had viewed a few negative reviews. Very flimsy, bendable wire inside Hat rim. Not stylish, does keep sun off face. I have a big head and the top of Hat is very big. I was laughed at when I was seen with it on.

Flexible and Versatile
I love the versatility of this hat! It is incredible because it also folds up well, is machine wash/dry friendly, flexible, and oversized but in a chic way where I don’t like crazy. I always get compliments whenever I wear it and it is not heavy on the head. Purchase if you want your face to stay away / under the sun!

Hat was NOT AS ADVERTISED – Limp syntheticy, fabric that doesn’t feel like it contains any linen or cotton, brim is short at the front and long at the back. I am a seamstress and I can see that the hat in the photos doesn’t match the hat I got. No structure, flips up with the slightest breeze. Feels like a $5 hat. Maybe in the beginning they were selling that lovely hat? I so wish it was.

Incredibly wide brimmed hat, highly recommend this product. You almost dont need spf when wearing.

With a big broad brim, this was a great hat for a beach holiday, it folded up to fit in a bag and then with the wire in the brim could be easily straightened out to wear again or shaped to still fit when lying in the hammock, the clip under chin ties held up to a breezy wind at the beach and the hat was large enough to fit my larger sized head, but could also be made smaller with the ribbon ties – a great price for a really good hat for managing the sun. And the pink colour was a pretty colour too.
