Favorite pair of shoes I’ve ever had.
Favorite pair of shoes I’ve ever had. On my second pair.Below is a copy of the feedback I left Kizik via their website:Hey, I just wanted to give some positive feedback and ask that you never stop making the black-on-black Madrid shoe.I’ve just replaced my first pair after 2+ years or so wearing them every single day, and that’s only because I wore the tread flat after hundreds of miles of walking – the uppers are still perfect. I’m actually keeping the old pair as house slippers, because they’re still perfectly functional for most stuff that doesn’t require tread.Points of praise:- They were wonderful while travelling in Japan, where shoes have to be removed often to enter most hotels and many restaurants, etc, and the ability to kick them off and step into them made that so easy. This is also true for airports where one has to take shoes off during security screening.- They’re incredibly comfortable, whether walking 15+ in a single day on the streets of Chicago or hiking a mountain in Japan.-They’re very lightweight, which is great when you’re putting in miles a day – every gram counts.- I can machine wash them them by throwing them in the washer every couple of weeks and letting them air dry, and they’ve held up wonderfully to that with no noticeable wear.- They dry quickly as well once wet and are very breatheable.- I appreciate that the black-on-black with lack of large ugly logos makes them incredibly versatile. That discreetness is especially useful while traveling, when you might be tempted to pack another pair of dressier shoes in case you find yourself visiting an upscale restaurant or something. They blend in with any outfit.I’ve mentioned travel a few times above, and while I find them to be perfect everyday shoes, I think they’re the perfect travel shoe for the reasons stated above – maybe you can use that in your marketing? In any case, I hope you appreciate the positive feedback. I implore you to never stop making these or change them. I’m an avid hiker and I’ve found ‘the perfect hiking shoe’ several times, but when it came time to replace them, the manufacturer apparently felt the need to change things for no good reason. You keep making these, and I’ll keep buying them and recommending them to others.

    Hands Free, Supportive and Comfortable
Prior to having a total hip replacement if my left hip, I was shopping for a pair of sneakers that I could put on by myself without bending over and from a standing or sitting position. KIZIKS ARE EXACTLY THE SHOE I WAS LOOKING FOR. The shoelaces are adjustable prior to putting on for a tighter fit. I use my cane to remove each shoe very easily — from a standing or sitting position. These Kiziks are also comfortable and supportive. Better than barefoot for walking after surgery even if you’re not walking very far or very often. I am going to buy another pair for just indoors. Excellent quality. Also, a big plus for me is they add almost 2 inches to my height.I wear an 8 medium in an ASICS running shoe and purchased these Kizik in women’s size 8. They fit very well.Eager to see if they are as supportive for walking longer distances on all terrains.

    Best sneaker for long tours
Fit was great. Lightweight. Roomy in toe box. Slips right on. Stayed clean. Loved the stylish look of the gray Madrid Bought and used for Rhine River Cruise. 5 countries, 7 – 10 miles a day. Comfort all day long. Plan to buy another pair for my next trip as well!

Nice looking, comfortable slip on shoe
I found these using ChatGPT while searching for a slip on shoe like Sketchers with a little bit of an upgrade. I like the look of the upper part. To me the shoe is less stiff than my sketchers but they are easy to slip on and off. I got the size 14 for men. It is probably true to size but my toe does go to the end of the shoe with no extra room. The toe box is wide. There is a small amount of arch support that I like. The shoe seems light weight which I also like. The price seems reasonable. Overall this is 4 stars or close to a 5 except for the slight smaller fit in the length of the shoe. I will buy again.

Work as advertised. No arch support and flimsy.
There is no doubt that these shoes perform as advertised. They are very easy to put on and take off. The heel springs back nicely and you certainly don’t have to bend to put them on.The problems I have with the shoes are the following: first, they are very light and are more like carpet slippers than shoes you’d want to wear outside for long periods.Secondly, the shoe vamp is very tight and it doesn’t adjust no matter how much you loosen the shoe laces. In fact, the laces are really just a placebo.Thirdly, there is virtually no arch in the shoe. In my case, when I tried to replace the insole with a custom orthotic I could not get my foot into the shoe. As I suffer from plantar fasciitis this is a big problem with the shoes for me.Lastly, the soles are very thin and you can feel it if you walk on a pebble or similar.I can recommend the shoes for ease of use but not walking long distances, nor for anyone who dislikes a tight shoe, nor for anyone with foot problems that need an orthotic.
