Stylish, Sturdy and Super-functional Glasses!
These shades are the perfect size and shape to be slightly over-sized on a small framed person. I have defined, arched eyebrows and they blend very well with the frames of these glasses. The polarization is very good, and yet I’m experiencing less problems with distortion when looking at my phone screen – a bonus!! The weight of the frames is substantial enough to feel sturdy but not heavy on my face. These do tend to slide off my head when I put them on top for safe keeping, a drawback, but they can also be tucked into a shirt collar, etc. even more safely. The color of the lenses is medium dark brown – but you can still see my eyes through them which I prefer – finding it really strange myself when I can’t see a person’s eyes when they’re wearing sunglasses and we’re having a conversation. The frames are a nice tortoise brown shade and the sea-green to slightly aqua color on the inside of the frame is a very fun accent. I would definitely recommend these glasses and other Kate Spade styles for their quality and durability.

A Quality Purchase
Kate Spade brand sunglasses are my favorite brand; they are attractive and sturdy with just the right weight and they have a feel of quality unlike some brands that do not feel as substantial, although they are attractive and protect from the Sun. Perhaps a little pricey for some, I highly recommend due to the fact that Kate Spade lasts like forever and is a very good quality product.

This is more the outlet line of Kate Spade
I decided to keep these, even though $65 is a bit much for sun glasses. I had seen “these” in Dillard’s for $165 or $180 ( I tried in 2 pairs) and couldn’t justify that. So I looked here. Many complain of the pin falling ….so far knock on wood mine have not..but I can see why..some complain they might not be real… well it dawned on me that if you take about 60 to 70% off you get outlet prices.. my guess these are what you would get at an outlet. The hinges are not as smooth, not as big and not as heavy..as the $180 version. The bridge feels the same as the $$$$ version and the ear curve is comfortable. I have such a hard time finding the smaller frame sizes anywhere and these are more comfortable then the drug store brands. The lenses are nice polarized and mine did come with a nice case. They say they are scratch resistant which was another problem I had with drug store versions. Based on the reviews I am trying to be careful opening and closing them..and they do creak a bit when they are opened, much like the drug store versions.. So go into this purchase as if you are outlet shopping.. they did cut some corners (a bit literal) but overall you get nice lenses and they feel much like the “non outlet” version. I tried on 10to 15 pairs of glasses at Dillard’s and these were the only women’s 54 mm frames I could find. But if you can wear the bigger size 56 mm frames.. there prob more choices out there at less $ and same quality or same $ better quality.

Love but piece broke
I love these and bought a second pair. Unfortunately there is a little silver piece that fell off the side by the lenses. So it will no longer sit correctly as it makes one side longer than the other. Hence needing to buy a different pair.

I love these glasses. Lenses are great. Polarization works good. Fit is good too. I normally spend big bucks on Ray Ban or Maui Jim. Kate Spade quality seems to be excellent for 1/2 the price of the other guys. Give these a try. You’ll be pleased.

Durable, Lightweight, Scratch Resistant
I generally have three issues with sunglasses. 1) They sit too heavy on the bridge of my nose. 2) I scratch them/they scratch easily. 3) I lose them. There’s nothing I can do about #3, but these glasses are light enough not to leave those heavy “dents” on the side of my nose, yet substantial enough not to slide off. Maybe it has something to do with the width across the bridge, too? Amazingly, I’ve had these for a year and – even though I’m not always good about putting them in their case – they haven’t gotten scratched. (I hope I haven’t jinxed myself by saying that). I love the way they look, too. They’re wonderful for cutting glare and good for driving on gray drizzly days, too. Possibly the best sunglasses I’ve ever had.
