A breath of fresh air, this dress.
I dont buy nearly any other clothes these days except for Amazon Essentials, and this dress is no exception. I am wearing a size medium. I have this dress in three colors—navy, green, and now black!! I also have the long version.Girls: DO IT. This is the comfiest dress in the universe, and so flattering (even for a broad-shouldered lady like myself). It is buttery soft & effortless, wonderful for summer days. I feel SO PRETTY—and modest!!! Ladies!!! It hits just above the knees!!! You can bend over in peace! 11/10 recommend. THANK YOU AMAZON for being so surprisingly dependable in this department!!!! And affordable! God bless you!!!

Great for Nightgowns
These have become my favorite night gowns. I like having support up top when I sleep but still want to be comfortable and nothing binding or tight. These are cute, super soft and fit the bill. They do stretch out over time and the fabric gets a little less smooth, maybe? They are also helpful for nursing! Wash up really nicely too!

Seems to run a little large
The quality of the dress is good. The fabric is soft and comfortable. The skirt is very full so the drape is heavy and hangs in such a way that on me it looks saggy and too big! The waistband is elastic so I would order one size smaller than needed and because of the elastic it should fit fine. Im going to return and reorder a size smaller.

Yes to this dress
This dress is so cute. I just love the colors and the length. It falls just above my knee, which is perfect. It’s instantly become one of my favorite things. I washed it in the laundry and dryer and it didn’t shrink at all. The fabric is so soft on my skin. And it’s extremely comfortable to wear. The material is opaque. And the design is flowy. I highly recommend this product.

Versatile and comfortable
I am really impressed with this dress! It fits so nicely, and the empire waist is forgiving without creating the illusion of a bump. It drapes nicely, and is a very soft jersey material, it’s super versatile, I took it on vacation and could wear it as a beach/pool coverup,, casual daytime dress, or dress it up for evening with heels and jewelry. I’ve washed it multiple times and it washes and dries very well. Love the sizing too. I am 5’2”, 120 lbs and bought an XS.

Loved this dress from two years ago but not the ones Amazon is selling today!
I bought 3 of these dresses a couple years ago and wear them often in the summer. They’re great to wear around the house, throw on flip flops for a casual look to run errands, or dress up with nice sandals and fun jewelry. Add tights and a cute jacket or sweater and these dresses transition well into spring or fall. Truly a dress you can wear for all but the most formal occasions—and they’re sooo comfortable! They also wash and dry beautifully. If I were to rate my origin 3 dresses, I’d happily give them an enthusiastic 5 stars.I decided to buy a couple more of these dresses, and they just arrived today (July 2025). They’re being sold as the same dress I bought in 2023, but if you check out my photo, you can see the black dress on the left (new one) is considerably shorter than the grey dress on the right I bought from Amazon two years ago. Even though I have a long waist, the older dresses come to just above my knees, which is a perfect length for me. These new dresses are 2-3” shorter and the elastic at the empire waistline is different and feels awkward. The length is now too short and the waist is uncomfortable.Like with so many other things these days, it feels like Amazon Essentials is cutting corners— sewing these dresses a little shorter to save the cost of a little extra fabric. Considering how much I like my original 3 dresses, I’d pay more to have those extra inches back at the hemline and a comfortable fit around the waist!

Really is an essential dress!
I was so worried that this would not be a real Navy blue. But it indeed is a true navy blue! I bought the black one last week and loved it so much I wanted one in every color ❤️ Sadly all that was left was the blue and the photo showed it as a washed out color. Glad I took a chance. Dress is an empire waisted (under the boobs) and drapes gently over the body. So stretchy it will fit everyone just right. I got a XL. I’m 5’1″ 165ish lbs needs to be about 1 inch shorter but everything I buy has to be hemmed. Great buy, great fit!

Nice
This dress is surprisingly nice for the price. I had been searching the local stores for a dress my16yo granddaughter could wear to a church wedding and was having little luck in finding one that fit her body type and was appropriate. This one fits her well and covers her in all the right places while still looking good. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five was the way it was packaged. It came extremely wrinkled. I’m hoping after washing and hanging to dry some of them will fall out.

El corte del vestido es muy lindo y la calidad de la tela es muy buena. Es suave, de buena caída y lo suficientemente gruesa para no transparentarse. Lo compré en dos tonos en talla chica y creo que si pido otro, lo haré en una talla menor, pues por el tipo de escote y elástico en la cintura, da para más y me quedó un poco flojo. El largo me resulta cómodo, yo mido 1.74 y me quedó unos 4 dedos arriba de la rodilla. Por el diseño, lo mismo sirve para una ocasión informal, que para algo más formal usando los accesorios adecuados.
