Sure, the light and mist functions work separately. You can turn off the light by long-pressing the LIGHT button for about 2 seconds.
What is the continuous running time of this diffuser?
When filled with 550 ml of water, the strong mist mode can last for 10 hours, and the weak mist mode can last for 12 hours.
Can the diffuser be used without adding essential oils?
Yes, essential oils are not necessary. You can use it without oils. It’s just like a humidifier without oils.
Is the cleaning operation of the diffuser simple?
Yes, the water tank is very easy to clean. Just add some warm water and diluted vinegar, let it sit for 15 minutes, then use a wet cotton swab to clean the white disc in the middle of the water tank, and then wipe it with a soft cloth.

Poor Control Button Design
I do like this diffuser however there are some issues with it. I ordered the grey one and you cannot see what is written on the control buttons. The lettering should be a darker color so you can see what function each button indicates. I had to look online at a darker color to see what was written. Bad design. The instructions explain fairly well but when you can’t see what the manual is referring to their pretty useless. Would not order again, maybe a different color would be better but don’t get the grey one.
