Best shampoo for oily hair condition!!
I have oily hair and this is the perfect shampoo for someone who has this condition. It keeps my hair oil free and styled all day,no matter what I’m doing. The first time I used it was at a hotel and I have used it ever since! I love Aromatherapy Shampoo! This is the best shampoo I’ve used since I used Sebring shampoo, also a very good shampoo if you can find it!

Excellent Shampoo that makes you feel like you’re in a spa!
Have traveled all over the world and always liked this product,so I did a little research and here it is…. wonderful and relaxing shampoo. Definitely a customer for as long as they make it. Love it!

Great shampoo but not the DoubleTree Hilton version.
The shampoo and condition is great, as it makes hair thick, shiny, and healthy (also my scalp loves it). However, THIS IS NOT THE SAME SMELL USED BY DOUBLE TREE-HILTON. Others have posted that this is the same as the Marriott (I cannot vouch for this). I fell in love with the Hilton version. After ordering this bottle, I thought it smelled a little too much like Murphey’s Oil Soap (with undertones of the smell used by the one I found in Hilton hotels, see below). I am giving it four stars because it is a great shampoo and conditioner. I am just not crazy about the smell on this one.If you are looking for the one used by DoubleTree-Hiltons (specifically Fort Lauderdale), I have found it for my fellow US residents. This is a new line made by Aromatherapy Associates, but is called Aroma Actives (aromaactives.com). Currently, it is not offered online. However, I called the company directly (the number can be found in the contact us section of either website: aromatherapyassociates.com OR aromaactives.com) and talked to the nicest representative in Fresno,TX. It sells for $18 for 200mL and was shipped very quickly. I can vouch for this one because I kept a bottle from my Hilton stay and compared the Aroma Actives bottle to my freebee in a somewhat scientific sniff test.

Not For Waves or Curls
I’d recommend against using this if you have wavy or curly hair. It says it’s for all hair types but it’s really not. My hair is naturally fine, wavy to cork screw curly and this made it straighten with the same process I use with a much cheaper brand shampoo which is designed for curly hair. I had discovered this brand while staying in a JW Marriott and I loved it at the time. The smell isn’t something I was a fan of either. I was willing to get used to it if it worked. Hey, the positive side is I don’t have to worry about that now.I’m not convinced this was the same stuff and if it was, perhaps there was something different about my experience at the Marriott that made the product work better there; like not having to worry about kids, money, family for a whole day. Sort of like Cinderella at the ball, except I was in fancy pants, and no evil stepsisters but I did have to worry about three cats complaining at me about food… ok I digress.Whatever the case, I’d recommend not using this on curly hair, I suspect it’s great for other hair types. I’d check out the Deva curl stuff if you have curly hair. It’s what my stylist recommends and uses in my hair. For anyone else who has to deal with gluten issues and curly hair, the Deva line now has g-free (I’m not affiliated with Deva, I’ve heard a lot about them from my amazing stylist due to my hair type, guess I should have listened to her :/). I purchased the Aromatherapy Associates shampoo after after staying in a 5 star hotel in Singapore where Aromatherapy products were in all rooms. Fabulous products which also included hair conditioner and body wash.

I really like the smell and fragrance of the product. The only downside is that it you require quite a bit more than other shampoos to create a foam. Otherwise, I would rate it 5 stars
