Stylish but Poor Design with Mediocre Hardware. Very Difficult to Open
This is an elegant looking bag although the fit and finish of the black bag I received is not as good as I had hoped. Also, the design of this bag could be much better. Instead of a latch the maker of this bag uses powerful magnets. They are in fact too powerful. You have to push up on the bottom of one side so your thumb can get a grip on an edge otherwise it is very difficult to to open. I would honestly be concerned about putting anything in this bag (like a credit card, or access card with a magnetic stripe) that could be demagnetized. You can see from the photos that the “detachable” chain instantly sticks to the magnets. That is not helpful. Oh, and about the chain, it is not easily detachable. The reason for that is that at one end they do give you jewelry clasp for detaching it but the other end they do not. You have to crimp “o” hook on the other end to keep it attached which prevents your from detaching it without pliers. The quality of the chain and hardware is mediocre. I can’t recommend this clutch in its current form.
