It really is SO gentle
This is a wonderful find for someone with fine hair. I have some hair concerns after having some hairloss due to a medication and so right now, I am really trying to be super careful with it. I didn’t know what a silicone clip would feel like. Would it pull???? It does not. This curling iron is a dream come true for treating your hair gently. It doesn’t even have full heat to it, it only goes to 385 degrees F. It does a wonderful job and creates zero friction. I’m so glad I found this curling iron! I use it for smoother waves on naturally wavy, fine-ish hair.

If you have fine hair and struggle with curling your hair, this is your curling iron. I hated curling my hair as it never held, now I curl my hair every morning. Would buy again in a heartbeat. Buy It!

I am a very “senior” gal who had never used a curling iron in my life. Decided to give this one a chance and so far I am loving it. It’s fast heating and easy to use. I have only used it at the lowest heat level and it does the job nicely.

Really works for my short, fine hair
I have moved to a “pixie” style haircut for the summer. With hair this short and fine, I’ve found regular 1/2 inch flat irons and the one-inch diameter and smaller curling irons just don’t clamp securely and hold my hair to allow it to be curled. The metal coverings on the clamps of those tools allow the hair to slip out too easily. With the silicone covering for the clamp on this “Oh So Kind”, it easily grabs my hair and holds it and releases just as easily when I unclamp my hair. The ceramic covered barrel is recommended for fine hair. The choice in different temperatures makes this perfect to control the heat my fine hair is exposed to without damaging it. This curling iron was made specifically for fine hair and works very well to speed my hair styling. It has eliminated the frustration I was experiencing trying to use regular/typical curling irons for my hair. I rarely find it easy to give high praise to a product. There are always “cons’ to deal with. I haven’t found any thus far.

Love the design! and its lightweight, easy to use, the heat level dial is ‘not’ in the way so no fear of turning it up or down while curling, this is the “best” curling iron I’ve ever bought, highly recommend!Plus I have fine hair and would lose hair with my other iron, not with this one, so it’s a win-win!

Quality Curling Iron for Fine Hair
I have extremely fine hair and read many reviews before making this purchase. The Conair OhSoKind Curling Iron came highly rated. It has three temperature settings and three speed settings so that the user can adjust the iron to a desirable speed and temperature. The built-in stand makes it easy to set the iron down on a counter without doing damage to the surface upon which it is set. My old curling iron was overheating and damaging my very fine hair. I have used the OhSoKind iron for several months now and have noticed no damage being done to my hair now and a definite improvement in the ease with which I style my hair. I definitely recommend this outstanding product!

I think this is a great curling iron and works very well; however, a word of caution… this is for REALLY fine and silky hair. Some of my hair has texture and I find that it causes a lot of friction or tugging on my hair. I think this is perfect for fine hair but maybe best for only fine silky hair.
