Excited to try this hat on a cruise!
Purchased to take on a Mediterranean cruise later this year to wear while visiting different ports. Like that this hat is lightweight, adjustable, has a removable chin strap, brim wide enough to block the sun/rain but not overly wide, folds easily and includes a clip to secure to my bag if I don’t want to wear it the entire time – very handy. It even looks nice on, which many hats do not for me. Looking forward to trying it out!

Perfect bucket hat!
This hat is perfect for keeping the sun away! I wore it during a hiking trip in Yellowstone and it not only kept the sun off of my face and neck, but it gave enough protection without having to put sunscreen on. It was very lightweight and the cord that you can attach or detach was great to be able to take the hat off when I wanted but still have it hanging on my body so I didn’t have to carry it. It folds up nicely in a travel bag and does not wrinkle much. I have it 5 stars because we had an entire day of rain and it kept my head completely dry. The rain just ran straight off of this bucket hat. I guarantee you will not be disappointed with this purchase!

Needs some work
I really give this 3 1/2 stars. It is just the right size brim and style hat that I need to go from rain to sun during my summer trip to Ireland. I wear a size small hat and this fits comfortably on my head with space to spare. I did a water test under the sprayer of my sink and five minutes later water was still beading up on the top of the hat, but soaked right into the brim. It comes vacuum sealed and compressed into a quarter of its size, almost impossible to get the creases out so that the brim lays flat. Since the brim stays wet, I’m going to steam iron it and when it’s dry, put a waterproof spray on the entire hat. I am doubtful that these deep creases will come completely out, but, hey, it’s a packable hat. I will be packing it completely flat though. I am sure by the time I am done it will be a five star hat, but wish it didn’t require any work!

LOVE THIS HAT!
I love hats and have collected a small herd of them over the years. I am a retired Dermatology RN and I know the value of a good sun hat. This is one of my favorites because #1 it is packable. When it came out of the packaging it was nicely folded. #2 the fabric. I was a quilter and I know quality fabric when I feel it. #3 it looks so nice on the head and it is adjustable for size. I can leave it loose so my hair doesn’t get as smooched. #4 it has a chin strap which can be removed. I have added so many chin straps to hats that I really appreciate that it is already added. #5 the price. I have paid over $20-25 for something very similar but not packable. This is a bargain. I immediately order 2 more. I will place them in the pocket behind my passenger car seat so I always have one handy for a sunny day. They won’t take much space in my suitcase for my next trip.

Great little bucket hat!
Love it! It is lightweight and comfortable. The removable chin strap is great for windy days and the little snap compartment inside the top of the hat is great for stowing my sunglasses when I take my hat off indoors.

Good for bigger heads
This hat arrives folded up really nicely. But the folding created creasing in the brim of the hat that I couldn’t flatten out over the course of a week. I even tried to flatten it by placing it between some heavy books and that still didn’t work. It’s like a thick windbreaker material with an adjustable chin strap. There is also an adjustable strap on the hat itself to make it looser/tighter, but it is overall a very big hat. Adjusting the sizing strap just made it bunch up on my head. I would say I have a normal sized head and it looked like I was wearing a hat that was 2 sizes too big.

Functional
Great hat, versatile, portable, functional, just what I was looking for except it needs some ironing.I put it to the test for rain proofing, I would say it will keep my head dry till I run for cover, not like an umbrella, it holds for a few minutes than moisture sips through.Great price too!
