Not for the faint of heart
First I am thoroughly impressed with the packaging and presentation of these sets. That alone makes it a fantastic gift.Now regarding the actual perfumes, there is one thing all of them share: they are unique and BOLD, almost a little obnoxious. I tried to use no more than a tiny spray each time and then scent was strong enough to be noticeable on my own shirt several hours later. I was even able to smell it off the shirt in my laundry basket days later.Intensity aside, I liked the quality of the scent and it typically got better over the day. Ironically as a guy, I found the female set to be much more pleasant where as the men’s set was mostly overpowering.I didn’t like any of them enough to make them my daily wear but definitely enjoyed the sampling and having it for occasional use. If I had to rate them separately I would give 3 stars to the men’s set and 5 star to the women’s.

Light and Airy Scents
I love that this set has so many samples to choose from, and believe it or not these little bottles last a while. The Jasmine OUD and Sahara Rose were my favorite picks from the women discovery scents, although honestly I liked them all. They have light, airy tones. The men’s scents however were very different. My husband was not a fan of any of them because he said they smelled too feminine, but I really liked several – the White Moroccan Leather and Sage and Citrus were my top two for men. But I do agree with him that the men’s scents could be deeper and darker toned overall.

The packaging and presentation of these sets are great and really like that they included tester strips to spray on (each kit only had 4 strips although there are 5 scents)Now- the scents are… not great…Eastern perfumes are nothing like western or American style perfumes. These are grown up and tough. Tough as in they really punch you with their notes and honey- if you don’t like their notes- these will absolutely stink to your nose!I ended up keeping “Spiced Bergamont & Oris” from the men’s set and “radiant florals & Amber” from the woman’s.Both the men’s and women’s set contained “rose Oud” which smells sooooo matronly and dated. I cannot imagine a man or a woman under 90 wearing it!!Had I purchased this set bundle I would be pretty disappointed for only liking two out of 10…. I wouldn’t say it’s a complete overall flop because I’m sure culturally, this might be for someone else other than me…The scents are very long lasting. I sprayed one on my arm and it literally doesn’t wash off

Mostly all very good fragrances
I have tried Habibi NY’s previous fragrances and I have enjoyed them. I like the presentation. This double set did not disappoint as well. From the men’s discovery set I very much enjoyed Santal journey, white Moroccan leather, and iced bergamot & orris. From the women’s discovery set, I enjoyed iris bloom, radiant florals & amber, and velvet royale. These are all long lasting fragrances so you do not have to worry about them not lasting.

Nice options
You’ll get to try quite a bit here and there is enough to last a while so it doesn’t quite feel like a sampler. It is a little pricey for what is essentially a sampler, as inevitably some fragrance you won’t like and won’t use between that men and woman fragrances, but I like the male fragrances I’ve tried, so I’m happy with it.
