Great hair oil for
I really like this hair oil! I have straight, heavy, low-porosiry hair. It needs moisture to combat frizz, but if I uss anything too heavy it gets weighed down. This oil is silky smooth and applies very lightly without leaving a residue or making my roots look greasy. I like that the pump on the bottle dispenses a small amount so you can apply and then add more if you need it. The scent I chose, Hinoki, is very light but pleasant. It smells sweetly woody, like a cedar chest. It does seem to last a while in the hair, but isn’t overpowering. I’m really glad I decided to give this a try!

Instant control in a small package
Good stuff! Takes 2-3 squirts to control my mid-back length wavy hair, and that’s a much smaller amount than when I use other similar products. Works well after a shower or even the next day on dry hair. The oil absorbs nicely and my hands are not that oily afterward. The scent is pleasant and short-lived, which is fine by me. Hair is noticeably smoother and softer afterward. A small bottle, but lasts quite awhile. Will buy again when it runs out.

It’s like bringing a forest spa to your hair!
The hinoki scent is absolutely beautiful—subtle, woody, and calming. It doesn’t smell artificial at all and reminds me of a peaceful forest. I love how the scent lingers just enough to make me feel refreshed throughout the day.The texture of the oil is lightweight but still very nourishing. I use it on damp hair before blow-drying for a smooth, shiny finish, and it works great on dry hair too to tame frizz and add softness without feeling greasy.The packaging is elegant and would make a great gift as well. I’ll definitely repurchase this—it’s become a staple in my hair care routine!

Not long lasting but tames the frizz!
This hair oil is light and did not weigh down my hair after application. I purchased Osmanthus and am not in like with this scent. It’s not a bad scent but it’s not what I would have picked for myself if I could have smelled it before purchase. Regardless, the scent does not linger on your hair after application. My fiancé buried his nose in my hair and could not smell a fragrance 2 hours after application. I did feel the oil calmed the frizz and added some softness to my hair temporarily.

Masculine Smell
Smells great, but has more of a masculine citrusy smell. I guess I thought it would smell more floral or clean. Doesn’t smell bad though, just not for me – gave it to my husband.

This oil is the bomb dot com. I had an addiction to the old Biosilk oil about 20 years ago. This oil is my new replacement. It smells divine, and it never makes my hair too oily, no matter how much I use it.

Does not deliver on claims – any of them.
I purchase, make, and use a wide variety of oils for skin, hair, and nails. This one fails to deliver any of the benefits it claims – at least not with normal use. I suspect that if the entire bottle were applied at once, hair might appear slightly glossier and less frizzy for a short time, but even then, the fragrance would remain barely noticeable.Osmanthus is one of my favorite scents, yet this oil has an almost imperceptible fragrance. I used the same amount I do with my regular anti-frizz oil, and this oil actually caused flyaways. The next time, I tripled the amount – only to end up with greasy strands that reverted to frizz within an hour.I will not only not be making another purchase of this oil, but I will make an effort to help people avoid it.
