Great longwear lipcolor.
I’ve bought this shade probably 20 times! Stays on beautifully, great mid tone shade for fair warm tone skin. Use the moisturizer part too! (I keep hearing too many often skip step two and then complain the lipcolor feels dry!It can be bought separately since you will use it up sooner than the color end. Reapply moisture coat after drinking/eating. I only wear longwear lip colors because I don’t like marks on cups and faded lipstick!

FANTASTIC FULL-DAY lip color!!
Let me start by saying I am not a girly girl. I would love to be – I’m just not. I don’t buy hundreds of dollars of cosmetics each year because 1, I don’t know how to use them all, 2, it’s just too putzy for me, and 3, I HATE spending money on things that don’t work. That said, I have bought four of these so far, and expect to add to my color list. These are FANTASTIC! They really do last all day unless you bite your lips a lot or roughly wipe them often. There are two ends on these tubes. The color end is a felty type wand. The other end is a “color-locking” clear coat. I have the following colors in order on the picture:117 – Peppermint Blush – for a pale white girl, this is literally the same color as my lips. It has a bit of a metallic look in the tube, but I didn’t notice it on my lips.119 – Neverending Nutmeg – brown cream109 – Toujour Teaberry – bit of a metallic color in the tube201 – Everlasting Caramel – pretty color, but not caramel at all.Now, because I don’t wear makeup usually, these are really stark to me, so I brush off most of the color back into the tube. Plus, I don’t LOVE any one of the colors, so I mix them all to match my outfit or my mood that day. I just brush a bit of one color onto the wand of the other and it’s just what I want. I will say I noticed a difference when I add the color-lock sheen a couple minutes after putting on the color rather than immediately afterwards. For a couple of minutes the color will feel pretty sticky, but it really does hold better if you give it a couple minutes after applying color. I cannot rave about this lip treatment enough.

I have used the 2 step Infallible lip for a few years. I think the quantity of base coat lasts a sufficient while for the price, but you have to use caution with the top coat – it is soft and can break off, and it WILL MELT if left in the car, or even if your handbag gets too warm outside. It is absolutely long lasting when applied properly – it can last all day AND overnight – 24 hours+ when applied properly. Of cure, smoking and drinking are the biggest ways to lose the infallability. I have never found another product that does this well, because I have the kind of skin that seems to absorb makeup like a sponge. My best look is: use a line filler and softener first/ I like Clinque’s “All About Lips” lip sealer which works on the skin and the lips and a little goes a long way to help offset the seemingly outrageous price. I like Aquaphor too, which works on the lips alone. Let whichever product you use soak in and “dry” before applying Infallible color, even if it just regular face lotion that gets on your lips, because anything else applied must be soaked in completely for better Infallible longevity. Use the applicator which has a special-shaped sponge pad by holding it in different ways and using different pressures. Hold it sideways to press against the upper lip, one side at a time, from the cupid-bow tip downward. Use the tip of applicator to “draw” the cupid-bow center. Never fill in the corners of the top lip. Load more onto to applicator for the lower lip. With the tip of applicator, swipe down from top of lower lip toward the bottom, starting on the outer edge at the corners, then dab (press, release, press, release) at the center of lower lip. That kind of plumps up the lower lip and also makes the outline at the same time if the applicator is help at the right angles. Play with and you’ll catch on. Now here’es my special top: If the color is dark, or too much, use a section of toilet paper to kiss it off your lips a bit. You have to do that right way though or it won’t come off once dry. Another trick is to put on a coat of deep color, then quickly go over it with a very pale color, to make an all together new color. If the red is too red for you, add a super pale pink over it. Like that. Once dry then put on the 2nd part, the clear gloss top coat. That top coat gloss effect will seem to come off but it does seal the 1st coat and the top coat can be reapplied throughout the day if you need. You will also find that some colors stay on you longer and others seem to fade off quickly. I do not understand this but what I noticed is the ones that best fit my skin tone seem to stay on the longest.

The product is very durable, stays 24hrs and doesn’t get too sticky matty while drying. However, this colour is very natural pink, it looks like there is no colour on lip, so you like some shade, then go for darker colour.
