I was looking for a vitamin c serum that doesn’t cost a gazillion dollars per ounce and am really glad i found this one from Qaana.It ticks all the boxes of ingredients i was looking for, and avoids crappy stuff on my skin.I looked up the ingredients online to see what was in there, and the ingredient bot described them as a “rich blend of emollients, humectants, antioxidants, and anti-aging powerhouses”. Sounds excellent to me.My skin feels a bit taut after applying it, but that loosens to a nice smooth firmness with no stickiness or heaviness at all. Almost the way a primer or pore filler satinizes skin.I have been using it for 3 weeks now with no adverse or drying/ peeling /redness/ irritation effects. My skin feels smooth like the way it does a few days after a facial, especially around the eye area. ( I wish i’d done half of my face for a photo before and after comparison!!)Make sure you read the box info about use frequency, sunscreen and moisturizer. It does list retinol in the ingredients so I have been adjusting my schedule for other products so i don’t overdue it.For the fragrance free crowd- this stuff pretty much smells like nothing. I took a few good whiffs to try to find some words to describe it and the best i can think of is glue. The kind that doesn’t smell.The pump works really well. Only gives a tiny appropriate-sized drop, not a huge wasteful splat. 4-5 drops is enough to cover my whole face and smear down my neck a little.I love that the pump has a twist lock so that it won’t leak when traveling.I was not familiar with the qaana brand prior, but after reading about their vision- I appreciate their use of science and skincare ingredients, and will definitely be trying other products from them.
