I have thin, fine hair and lately I’ve noticed that I’ve had an itchy scalp along with ends that were extremely dry. I use a rather expensive shampoo but it wasn’t helping with the problem. I then decided to get a hair cut with layers and now my ends were not only dry, but fly-away too. Ugh! I went and did some research for a moisturizing shampoo that might help me out and found this one. I bought the travel size (love when companies do this) and upon using it, noticed a difference not only with my scalp but with my dry hair. I then went on to use the All Soft every day conditioner which helped some more and even managed to later use the heavy cream mask which finally got my hair and scalp back to normal. No more itchy scalp or fly-aways! I can’t say enough about this shampoo line as it’s really helped my dry hair and scalp. In addition, my hair looks and feels so much softer and healthier. It hasn’t looked this good in a long time. This is definitely worth the money.

Great shampoo – definitely a little overpriced
I really like this shampoo. I thought it was a little small but you really don’t need to use a lot for a good lather. It smells a little odd but not bad, which makes sense. My hair has seemed healthier and my frizziness has seemed to improve. Good product but definitely a bit overpriced!

Both of my bottles came sealed, which is great. Amazon is an authorized seller for redken, now whether they keep up with the products (ex: expiration, storage temperatures, quality control) I am unsure of, there seem to be lots of negative comments/reviews. I have used redken in the past, yes it made my hair oily on day 2 or 3, but it made my hair the healthiest it had ever been. I am used to a whitish yellow thick consistency, with a beautiful scent. The scent I received is still the same as I remember it to be, but the color…. it was slightly a pink color which I am not used to (could mean it was stored incorrectly or has expired) I will use this product, as long as I have no negative reactions. I have never had a reaction to redken before so I should not this time around unless 1). They changed their formula or 2). Product is expired, was stored incorrectly, or quality has deteriorated, failure due to product abuse.I will update this soon enough, if I have come in contact with a reaction or faulty product. I have also purchased the same shampoo and conditioner for the same price of 33$ off of ulta.com which is also an authorized seller, according to the redken website. I will compare the 2 products (even though the same, from different retailers) (color, consistency, smell, texture, and performance) when the time comes and also give an update as to if you should spend your money getting it from Amazon since so many of you have left me feel uneasy about my purchase and Amazon has no comments to be heard from. Check the expiration before use, and patch test 24-48 hours before use to be safe.Update/use 1: no negative reactions, smelled great, felt great, made my hair soft like always. I did notice dandruff? I’ve never had dandruff but I don’t know if I had it before I washed my hair with this or just after because I don’t pay that much attention to my scalp. I will updated tomorrow or in a few days, whenever my next wash will be and then again for the third use and comparison to the same products I’ve received from Ulta.com.Update/use 3 and comparison: use 3, still no negative reaction, I figured out it wasn’t dandruff but product buildup on my scalp because I’m used to using conditioner on my scalp as well since my hair is dry. I made that mistake the first time but I changed it with the 3rd use and no more product build up or greasy scalp since this is a very moisturizing product. I received the same product from ulta.com and they are identical, smell color, texture, thickness, etc. Both are within the expiration, and after opened they last around a year, unopened 3 years. I patch tested both. As far as I can tell this is a good product and good seller. I may have been lucky, so still patch test, and check expiration and seals!

Definitely better than Olaplex
I bought this after seeing a ton of great reviews on reddit. I’ve always used Olaplex, but lately I noticed my hair feels sticky after washing and my hair didn’t feel clean. I have long, THICK hair. I decided to try this and figured I’d need a few washes before I noticed a difference.. I was wrong. I ordered it yesterday, it came today, I just dried my hair. My hair feels CLEAN, my hair is sooo soft. The weird sticky texture olaplex left is gone. My hair feels so much lighter. Definitely recommend for your hair health!
