Almost Perfect Platform: SHIBEVER Women’s Wedge Sandals Review
I recently purchased these Women’s Sandals for my wife, hoping to find a comfortable and stylish option for summer outings based on the generally positive reviews seen across Amazon and the web. While these sandals certainly deliver on the style front, a few notable drawbacks prevent them from achieving a higher rating.Aesthetically, they are exactly as pictured. The platform wedge design is flattering, giving her height without the discomfort of traditional high heels. The faux leather straps and espadrille-style wrapping look sophisticated and versatile—perfect for pairing with sundresses or cropped pants. My wife immediately loved the look and the solid, sturdy feel of the platform itself.The major issue lies in the fit and long-term comfort of the upper structure. Many reviewers noted a potential stiffness, and we found this to be true, particularly around the ankle strap and toe area. The straps are somewhat inflexible and required a breaking-in period that was slightly uncomfortable. Furthermore, while the footbed offered decent initial cushioning, the general consensus online about them not being ideal for all-day wear held true; they caused mild rubbing after a few hours of continuous walking.Sizing also seems slightly inconsistent. We followed the size chart, but they ran just a little narrow, which might be problematic for those with wider feet.Ultimately, these sandals are excellent for short events or occasions where standing is minimal—they are fashionable and provide great height. However, due to the stiffness and questionable long-term comfort, they fall short of being an essential everyday sandal. They’re good, but not great, earning a solid three stars.

Cute shoe but loose
These are very cute! However, the big toe loop is too loose for my foot and they slip off my feet while walking. This makes them uncomfortable for walking in for me. Can’t walk naturally.
