Smells Amazing & Lasts All Day!
The SOL DE JANEIRO Hair & Body Perfume Mist is sooo good! The scent is warm, sweet, and super addicting — it gives that fresh, beachy vibe without being overpowering. I love that you can spray it on both your body and hair, and it still feels light and refreshing. It lasts a surprisingly long time for a mist, especially when layered with lotion. The bottle is cute, easy to carry, and perfect for throwing in a purse or gym bag. Overall, this is one of my favorite scents ever. If you love sweet, warm fragrances, you’ll definitely love this!

Super Cute
This actually might be one of my favorite from Sol De Janeiro. I got it because of the packaging and because I havent not liked one of their scents so far, but this did not disappoint. Its a very pretty vanilla scent that has a hint of spice from the pink pepper and a pleasant depth from the amber. I dont exactly know where the inspo is coming from for this one, but it does not miss. It also has some surprising longevity that some of the lighter scents from the brand miss sometimes.The bottle also is so cute too, so thats a plus. Overall, its just a very good product, even for the price point. Id get it again, for sure

Love this body mist
I love this body mist. I was looking for something to wear around the house or after working out vs having to wear/waste perfume and this was the perfect option. I actually went into to try/smell the different scents before purchasing but this one smells so good you really can’t go wrong. It’s a bit pricey for a body mist BUT the other cheap ones just do not smell as good.

I loooveeee Sol de Janeiro. Especially the 62, but man, oh, man… this smells so incredibly good! It’s reminiscent of a lovely coconuty/beachy scented sunscreen.I was going to write my review in my own words, but the Amazon generated ideas presented for this review are… Well, interesting. Let’s go over them, shall we?• Scent. Okay. Reasonable point. I already mentioned what it smells like though. Beach. Coconut. Sunscreen. Summer… but hopefully without the lemon juice or sun-in hair lightening bad idea, 6th degree of Hell sunburns, playboy bunny sticker tan line shape above the coochie covering low-riding jeans we all wore paired with 14 spaghetti strap layered tank tops and a QWERTY keyboard cell phone, alcohol induced blackouts, one-night stands, and week-long groundings. Looking at you, years 2003-2007. Anyway, moving on….• Effectiveness? I guess it’s effective if effectiveness is determined perhaps by whether or not people might ask what scent you’re wearing. It isn’t particularly uncommon, and a reasonable question. If that is what is being determined here, then yes, it is effective. People generally have thought positive of the smell and inquire as to what it is.• Softness. Softness? What’s this mean? Like a soft scent? I guess I would describe it as a bright, bold, and airy, but still somewhat soft scent…maybe. Not like a light floral or baby powder scent though… More of a coconut scent. Slightly like sunscreen, in a good way. It smells like summer at the beach. Or the pool, I guess. I suppose it’s possible that someone might want to know if the bottle the body spray comes in is soft… or perhaps smooth, rather, and if that’s the case, then also, yes. Let’s not get it twisted here though… I don’t make it a habit to stroke bottles of body spray and determine the softness/smoothness of said vessel… That’s not something, I assume, most people are genuinely curious about. Maybe I’m wrong and way off base. Maybe it’s important to some people… But you know what? I don’t want to know why though. Please keep those thoughts and habits to yourself. Okay? Okay. Thanks.• Taste. Taste?! Sorry… I can’t help you out here. I am absolutely not tasting this body spray. If that’s your thing, please feel free to write your own review so we can all read exactly why company’s have to add warning labels to their products. Additionally, if you feel the need to taste this product, you might want to see your physician sooner than later because you probably have a condition called Pica… or Idiocy. I don’t know which… I’m not a doctor.• Value for money. Ah, yes, a normal and respectable review point. As far as value for money is concerned, I would say absolutely, yes. This stuff smells great. The quantity and scent itself generally lasts a while. It works well for casual occasions, and it’s just an overall happy scent. And I’m sure there are reviews that say, “The scent doesn’t last long,” “I have to reapply it often,” or “I can’t even smell it after 23 minutes 41 seconds [or insert random number of hours/minutes/seconds here]”. Look. Any perfume or body spray sprayed directly on the skin isn’t going to last very long. Things like body chemistry, environmental factors like heat and humidity, or fragrance concentrations can lessen the scent stick time on your skin. Pro Tip: Use an unscented moisturizer on your skin and then apply. OR… Spray it on your clothes. There are a few different methods… You can: 1.) spray it in the air and walk through it allowing it to cling to your skin (hopefully with unscented moisturizer applied first) and your clothes, 2.) lightly spritz it over your collar area, cuffs, etc., or 3.) do you and just go crazy with it by dousing yourself in the stuff like you’re an unbathed, male military member deployed to Iraq during the wretchedly hot summer months drenching yourself in PX/Shoppette purchased Axe Body Spray to mask your horrendous odor, and unsat lack of grooming standards, in the attempt to get the attention of the not-so-rare transformed stateside 3 to desert 10 deployment Queen… Also comparable to the applications standards of a cheap prostitute. Same same, ya know? Please, please don’t choose number 3. Best scenario, you end up with a case of regret (stateside 3 to desert Queen 10, remember?) and you still smell awful… like sour milk enhanced with coconut. Oh look! If it isn’t the consequences of your own terrible life choices!Anyway, just spritz it on your threads, within reason… of course. Giving people headaches (and nausea), because you lack the ability to smell it on yourself or properly bathe, isn’t cool. Sleep well, eat well, exercise, shower, brush your teeth, moisturize, spritz yo scents (liiigghhtttlyyy), and be happy. That, too, makes us all happy, headache (and nausea) free, and less likely to hate you for your overwhelming smells and bad decisions, okay? Okay.Taste though? Good grief. I’m all for natural selection and survival of the fittest, but… C’mon, Amazon. Taste? Seriously? 🤦🏼♀️

SO GOOD, SO FAINT 😩
Beijos de Sol is such a gentle fragrance, with way more of a “skin smell” vibe than other Sol de Janiero mists in my collection. It’s like a delightfully beachy, bright mixture of peach & coconut milk carried by solar florals. It brings a lot of beautiful sunny tropical warmth without becoming sweet or cloying, which I love!!It’s a perfect soft, warm summer fragrance that brings happy beachy vibes & memories of summers past (at least for someone raised in CA) but isn’t artificial smelling or overwhelming, even on a super hot day where fragrances can get sickening quickly. Its softness can also be its weakness though, as it remains faint no matter how often you reapply it! It has very low projection/ silage & seems to fade from mildly there at onset to barely detectable levels extremely quickly, even for Sol mists which don’t have great lasting power in general. Which is such a shame because for a few beautiful fleeting moments between the alcohol dry down & the nearly immediate fading of the fragrance it smells almost exactly like HARAJUKU LOVERS G PERFUME from the early 2000’s which I LOVED.It has that same good beachy coconut note where it sits between fresh coconut milk & warm suntan lotion coconut smell, but avoids the gourmand toasty/nutty/sweet quality that a lot of other coconut fragrances have & instead stays in the sunny/creamy/fresh but warm tropical lane.You definitely smell the fresh juicy brightness of the peach at initial spray, with no candy or artificial notes, it really smells like a fresh super ripe juicy peach which sadly does not stay & fades into a barely detectable but warm fruity note in the dry down.There is also a super slight pear note that others have mentioned but it sits under the peach note from initial spray to dry down. Also, as someone who finds flowering pear trees to stink, (IYKYK) this pear note did not turn on my skin like some others had mentioned. I was super worried about this element but the pear is barely there & for me thankfully did not go into rancid stink, but seems to be a risk factor for some if you’re sensitive to that.The frangipani petals honestly are where most of the warmth to this fragrance comes from, & they definitely live in that solar warm floral arena, NOT in the sugar warm floral aspect of frangipani that a lot of mists lean into to. However it is still a sweet/sunny/honey smelling flower like alyssum & brings in the warmth through that aspect but at no point does it overwhelm the coconut milk & peach notes, & instead comes in & gently rounds them out without removing them.I can see why many people were surprised by this mist, but also why I love it: it is definitely NON-gourmand, but rather a fruity sunny floral, coconut fragrance. It’s gentle, tropical, & warm while still staying fresh, fruity & uplifting. I only wish it wouldn’t fade so quickly, & would retain the initial brightness of the peach throughout the dry down. The lack of silage might keep me from buying again, but also the well-balanced, barely there yet delightfully beachy fragrance might bring me back, at least until I find a better G dupe. Faint but lovely!!

I have tried 2 of these sprays now, and both have been so yummy, that I have ordered the other 3 to try. I spray on as I would perfume, and mist it in my hair. These sprays will be a life long staple for me! Love!!
