Love it
I love what this serum has done to my skin. It’s smoother, looks fresher throughout the day, and even looks more plump. I think it’s also evened out some of the skin tones and redness on my face but I’m not sure. It also helps to control my extremely oily skin, just a little. Less blotting throughout the day.Acne is less my issue, but I have closed comedomes and other weird textured bumps that I can’t figure out how to control. This has been helping, little by little. There is a purging phase; I started getting a few pimples after use, and again when I upped how many times a day I was using it, but they don’t last long. My skin is somewhat sensitive but it doesn’t burn. It does dry me out but follow up with a good hyaluronic moisturizer and you’re good to go. I will be purchasing more from this brand in the future.

It helps me manage my acne
My skin type is textured combination+very oily, acne-prone (hormonal acne). I’ve been using this for about 2 weeks, and already I see a difference. My face is shinier, signiticantly less oily, and smoother. My acne, while not completely gone, has become a lot easier to manage and less aggressive. Keep in mind I haven’t made any changes to my habits, such as eating cleaner or being adequately hydrated. Combined with better habits, I think this product could do even more.More things to keep in mind:- I wash my face twice a day. If you don’t, don’t expect any skincare to help you.- I pair this with sunscreen and moisturizer. Salicylic acid is VERY drying. You can’t skip out on moisturizer!!!- When you first use this, it might tingle or burn. Not significantly. It didn’t make my face red or irriated, but there is a sensation when you first put it on. This lasted about a week for me until it stopped. I used to only put it on at night, but after my skin adjusted I started using twice a day.Overall, I’m happy with this product and I’m definitely going to keep it as a permanent addition to my skincare routine!

Gentle and efficient!
This solution is a lifesaver for my skin. I have acne prone skin and hormonal issues. I break out all the time out of the blue. I use a combination of products to keep the acne at bay and this serum is one of the main ones. I use it once a day in the morning on clean skin. It immediately soothes the skin. It feels cold and very comfortable. It absorbs quickly, it doesn’t dry out my skin, and it wears very well under makeup. I repurchase this product the minute I see I am running low. My skin absolutely loves it and so does my wallet. It is very inexpensive and very effective. I highly recommend it.

Effective, but Not a Miracle
I’ve been using The Ordinary Salicylic Acid 2% Solution consistently and overall it’s a really solid product for the price. It helps clear out clogged pores, reduce small breakouts, and smooth texture without a lot of unnecessary ingredients. It’s lightweight, fragrance-free, and easy to layer under moisturizer.Just a heads up: the texture is a little watery/tacky, and this isn’t an overnight fix. It took a couple of weeks to see real improvement, and it can be a little drying if your skin is sensitive or already compromised. You definitely need to moisturize and use sunscreen.If you have oily or combination, blemish-prone skin and want an affordable, straightforward acne-fighting serum, this is a great option. Not perfect, but absolutely worth it for the results and price.

Helps cut down on my oily areas
I’ve been looking for something to help control my face oil so my makeup doesn’t melt off around my nose. This has helped do that and also prevent breakouts on my face. I always wear this under my makeup now and it’s super light weight. It actually helps my makeup last longer. I always make sure I have this in my cabinet so I don’t run out.

I use this all the time and I love it! A couple of days ago I found two soon to be pimples on my face and put some on after face wash. In the morning, my spots were clear! Great product!

The Ordinary Salicylic Acid 2 % Serum funktioniert wirklich sehr gut. Ich bin erstaunt und hätte es mir schon viel eher gekauft wenn ich gewusst hätte wie gut es gegen Unreinheiten hilft. Nach der ersten Anwendung habe ich wirklich schon eine Veränderung gesehen. Ich habe es auch sofort sehr gut vertragen. Wärmstens kann ich es empfehlen. Der Versand war super und ohne Probleme.

I used this on my chin, nose and forehead and my skin is so refreshed now it is the next day…definitely recommend for anyone who wants to exfoliate and cleanse their skin. It is also slightly moisturizing so that you are not totally drying out your skin which could cause more skin conditions.
