I love this hat!
I’ve purchased four of these hats in the last few years, one in black when they were available. I get tons of compliments on it. It fits comfortably and has just the right amount of coverage without feeling too floppy. I love how it has SPF protection. It keeps its shape well. I definitely don’t recommend getting it wet. Also, be sure to take care of it at the beach and near the pool. When you store it at home, keep in a place where it won’t get flattened. I always try to keep in a separate closet so it keeps it shape.There is an enclosed drawstring inside the hat to ensure a good fit.I’ve bought other hats by Coolibar, which I really like, but this one fits the best. It looks equally cute with workout clothing and casual day wear. You can also dress it up with a sundress as well. I wear it daily for neighborhood walks and trips to run errands. I highly recommend it!

I LOVE this hat. It has a very wide brim, so I’m not only getting sun protection on my face, but also on my neck and some chest as well. High quality and cute. I wear it every day!

Wide brim hat that actually keeps its shape!! But only lasted 2 weeks.
Edited to add: right after I wrote this review (and 2nd week owning this hat) I felt something poking me from my hat, a plastic wire has come out about 2 inches and is quite sharp. I’ve tried to push it back in but a piece still sticks out. For the price I would have hoped for a hat that last longer than 2 weeks.Original review:I bought this hat in hopes that when wet it would keep its shape. After a full week at the beach, in the ocean, I could not be happier I purchased it. The brim is very wide protecting your face and neck fully, but when a wave drenches it, it does not droop!! It’s very cute too! I got the straw colored one with black stripes and received lots of compliments on it.

Can see through it. Buy for looks not sun protection
This hat is perfect in all ways except plenty of light comes through the weave, so I won’t be using it. I’ve had a hat like this before from a different brand and got a low grade sunburn on my face. With the other Coolibar hats I have, I can’t see through them and I’ve never had that experience.

Love this hat
I waited to write a review until I returned from four weeks in southern France this summer. Experienced the historic heat wave. Many, many days way over 100 degrees; highest was 109.7!! This hat shaded my face, upper back, upper chest, and shoulders, and the brim stayed up (no drooping). The hat was comfortable to wear; the crown is lined; I got compliments on the hat and like the way I looked in it. In short, a terrific hat..
