It is perfect for what I bought it to do. Gardening and pool.
It does come vacuum packed in a plastic bag within an Amazon shipping bag. It was not in anyway damaged. I unfolded and was wrinkled but fit well. The seller says the wrinkles will iron out – they will just have to fall out with wear – not getting my ironing board set up for one hat.What I like best – it is so lightweight I forget I am wearing it. The brim is not so wide as to get in my way. I used it in the pool as I live in FL and even after 5 PM the sun rays are so hot – sunscreen on for protection but this hat is extra spf as – it’s Florida in July. I really like this hat.Note – the tie (for windy weather) is a string of elastic with an adjusting slide. Okay. It stays on in the wind – works.My husband like the hat so much he had me order a hat on the same order for men (no ponytail opening- not his generation). Thumbs up – I hope you buy and enjoy this lovely hat.

Great Summer Hat!
I bought one of these in another color for my daughter to wear while she was working on a farm this summer. She brought it when we went to Florida on vacation. I ended up borrowing hers one day since I didn’t have my sunglasses. It worked well to shade my eyes.We had plans to go out a few days later where we were going to spend a lot of time in the sun, so I overnight ordered this pink one for myself. It did not disappoint. I wore it in the water and it stayed on my head very well. I did use the snaps on the sides to hold up the brim since it would fold with the pressure of the water when I went under to swim.I really like the ponytail hole, it makes such a difference in the comfort of the hat, but also in how it sits on your head. I wear a lot of wide brim/bucket hats, and they aren’t usually flattering because of the way it smooshes your hair, or there’s a bump and it doesn’t lay flat.I did say I wore it in FL right? The ventilation helps with allowing heat to escape for your head, which is a must for me since I don’t usually sweat much except on my head.The material dries quickly and doesn’t lose its shape when wet. It seems to be well made, with no issues in teh stitching.I have a slightly larger than normal noggin, and it fits me well.

Great Hat although
I’ve previously owned this same hat, unfortunate this one doesn’t fit as well and the adjustment doesn’t work as well as the previous…. sadly left on a tour bus.. I do wear this replacement hat as it certainly keeps the sun off my face and the UV protection is awesome for my head. Even though its annoying it just doesn’t fit right, It’s so easy to pack for a trip or put in you handbag for the day.

This is a product I didn’t know I needed until I had it and now I want everyone to have one too!I was facing a scorching hot week in Wisconsin, the kind of days when only a dip in the lake can offer some relief. On the first day, I didn’t feel well after spending hours under the sun, so I rushed to Amazon looking for a solution, since I knew I’d be out in the sun again the next day. I randomly searched for a foldable women’s hat and decided to take a chance on this one. I’m so glad I did!!! It turned out to be an excellent product.The hat is super lightweight and completely foldable, very easy to use and holds its shape. I was a bit worried about creases from the packaging, but once it arrived, I used a steamer on the top part and it looked perfect within seconds. The material feels good, the lining is good, I can’t speak for its long-term durability yet since I just got it, but I haven’t noticed any flaws or anything concerning. For the price, I think it’s totally worth it.It has a double mesh panel that allows your head to breathe without making the hat fragile, which I love, because it keeps you cool and feels sturdy at the same time.The beige color is really versatile and perfect for summer. It’s stylish and even gives off a slightly more sophisticated vibe than a sporty hat, I loved that about it.I tried other hats afterwards, but this one is my favorite. It’s clearly designed for women, with a ponytail opening in the back and a slightly smaller fit that feels more delicate.I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for good sun protection. Good buy
Great hat for the price and quality. Shape remains even after many washes. Not to thick and thin enough for my head to breathe. Fit and style are nice. I use this every time I walk for at least 3 or more miles.

attractive but not strong
I thought it was over priced and wont last long as it is not strong material, just a cheap chinese import. I do like that it has a string attachment to keep it from blowing off. But it is attractive.

Exactly what I needed for a packable hat
I got the charcoal brim to avoid dirt showing on the edges with use. The white top still reflects the sun. Love the hat – yes, it comes folded in half and shrink-wrapped, but it was pretty easy to iron out the wrinkles. I wanted an inexpensive, packable sun hat. It is very lightweight and takes up no space in my suitcase. There is quite a bit of adjustment at the back. Easy to get my heavy ponytail through the hole and the hat stays put. It does breathe.
